Description
When watching this YouTube video from Corporals Corner, we were just as surprised as everyone else when a Tentsmiths item showed up. Not the Oilskin Tarp, those we know and love and sell every day here. The canvas sleeve that Corporal Kelly makes into a hammock hanging underneath a fallen tree. We made that so long ago that it is not in our computer system, and Peter could not quite recollect what exactly that sleeve is. But if we made it once, we can make it again. We’ll even throw some loops on the ends for good measure.
Now we’ve learned, this is actually Dave Canterbury’s cot, designed by him with help from Peter from a design from the early 1900s. We’ve had a long and wonderful history with Dave and Self Reliance Outfitters and wanted to make sure he gets credit for creating what’s turned into a popular item! He let us know that it can double as a debris bag or be worked up into a backpack as well.
This one is 7′ long, 4’3″ wide, made out of our mold resistant, water repellent, mildew resistant tent canvas.
This is a limited run item, so order soon!
