Another minimalist style tent built to view the outdoors with a fire in front. The Forester tent was first promoted by Daniel Beard, founder of the Boy Scouts of America. The basic design is a sloped roof wedge tent with the front of the tent wider than the rear. The front is seven feet wide, six feet tall and open, while the rear is three feet wide, three feet tall, either open or with a solid rear wall. The length is about eight feet.
The Forester can be made out of 10 oz. white canvas or 13 oz. in white, tan, suntan, or pearl grey.
