DO NOT PICK ADD-ONS. Tent is already made. you will need to either purchase poles and stakes or make/provide your own.
Why does one wedge tent get its own section? Because it has turned out to be a very popular tent answering a great many peoples’ needs.
The design for this tent originated from a phone call. An enthusiastic client was returning from a trip to France. While there, he took the time to visit as many museums as he could and located one with a large belled wedge tent erected with a second door and a full coverage awning. The tent dated to the 1740s. He was so excited, he proceeded to set off alarms while measuring the tent and looking for details. Unable to wait until he arrived home, the call was made from JFK airport and the dimensions were communicated and put to the drawing board. The rest is history?!
The generous measurements of this tent allows two cots, boxes and tables to live in this tent with room to spare. We have used ours with an awning to sell from at events for years. Many marquee owners keep a Museum Wedge for shorter events. We can easily place a second door in the bell for added ventilation or access. We have even vented the roof panels.
The Museum Wedge is 10′ wide, 8′ high with a body of 4 panels (about 11’3″) long, plus a 5′ bell, making the tent about 16′ long overall. Livable without a huge footprint.
Unless otherwise noted, Tentsmith tents are made out of 10 oz. white Sunforger – Flame resistant canvas.
