ROOF
VENTING. When standing in most
tents, you will find your head in the warmest part - the roof. Both you and
the heat are trapped in the same space. Opening both doors helps but a roof
vent was, and is, the real solution. We knew we would eventually find a
historic answer to our question and did, in an Austrian tent roof.
Basically an open rectangle, with a canvas lattice holding it together, and
a flap over the outside to close off the elements as mother nature
dictates.

a)view of roof vent
from inside of round end marquee
b)view of open, roof vent from outside of a rectangular marquee
c )view of closed, roof vent from inside of round end marquee
d )view of open, roof vent from outside of round end marquee
We have yet to hear from wet, unhappy campers.
However, we have received tents in the mail from customers wishing to have
roof vents retrofitted into their other, existing tents. Once you enjoy a
roof vent, every tent you own from that moment on will include one.
Cost
~ $95, regardless of tent or vent size
