Two hundred times less corrosive than stainless
steel, these ultra-light-weights weigh in at 12 lbs. or less, including the
necessary pipes. With a high heat transfer rate, comparable to bronze, your
tent (and dinner) will be nice & toasty in no time. The melting
temperature of titanium is 3,200 degrees, compared to steel, with a melting
temperature of only 2,600. Additionally, with titanium, burnout is
eliminated and warping is negligible. These stoves will be with you for the
long haul, and thanks to titanium, so will your back. Why schlep 60 lbs. in
addition to the rest of your gear, when these little beauties are around?
